Number of samples = ?

I am planning to buy the PropScope but I have a question.
As stated the maximum sampling rate is 25MHz which is a
sample every 40ns. So if you have the horizontal scale
set at 50ns/div and there are 10 divisions providing for
a total displayed time span = 50ns/div x 10div = 500ns).
Then the number of plotted samples = 500ns/40ns = 12.5
samples ,is this correct or what am I missing?
Thanks for helping me understand

    Hi,
The PropScope takes 20 divisions of data in sampling mode. Only 10 are displayed- but you can drag the display back and forth to see the rest. This allows you to capture a waveform and then see more of it if you need to. You can also set the horizontal trigger position where ever you want. So you could take 20 divisions of data before the trigger happened!
The PropScope takes close to 1100 samples at each event. Each sample includes either:
the DAC output, the 4 bit LSA input, the external trigger, and 1 ten bit ADC; or 2 ten bit ADC readings and the external trigger.
At 50ns/div the PropScope is indeed only taking 12.5 samples/screen- or 25 samples for the whole event.
The PropScope also has a "streaming" or "datalogger" mode- where samples are appended to a scrolling display. It automatically switches to this mode at slow horizontal resolutions- like 1sec/div.
