output expansion

Ok I searched though the forums and I still have a question about port expansion. (output)
I want to drive 64 to 128 leds. I like the sound of the TPIC695 or MIC59P60. However, does anyone make the equivalent with a high side driver? (like the UDN2981A) . Also is there a chip that would be like a 74lS373 with current drive capability? compatible with prop 3.3v signals? I could just add more prop chips and drive the UDN2981’s from them. I would prefer to keep it simple. The chip cost is a small part.
Thank you for your support.

Take a look at the ONSemi AMIS-39101.

Instead of adding extra Props for the pins (which require the additional programming and updates if needed), use the PCF8575 which is a 16 i/o I2C driver that will allow a minimum of 8 of the devices on one I2C bus giving control of 128 outputs. If you require highside, use the mosfet Phil linked driven by the 8575.

The AMIS-39101 octal high-side driver that I cited has a built-in serial interface.

Thanks for the input, I’m still reading data-sheets and would like to prototype with thru-hole dip packages. So am I showing my age if I still like the 8 bit bus parallel in 8 bit chip? (that’s the way we did it in the old days, and we liked it!)
