Tonight's NBC Nightly News "Making a Difference" segment featured citizen teachers in the Boston public schools, one of whom uses a Boe-Bot in his robotics instruction. You can view the segment here:

It's always great to see Parallax products getting national attention -- even if they aren't mentioned by name. What's even nicer is to see that they're being used in volunteer programs like this one that provide educational benefits beyond the reach of standard school curricula.

    XLNT program, followed by a nice stream of motivational "Making a Difference" segments. Gotta love those 83 year old twins working in the Love Kitchen.

    That's great to see Boe-Bot in the schools. Combined with the Parallax book, it's the classic robot to learn from. I enjoy seeing new projects posted for Boe-Bot in the Forums. I've even used my Boe-Bot for testing parts of a humanoid. I made a Humanoid Toddler. It would be cool to humanize the Boe-Bot, just a little...
