I am thinking of experimenting with the time of flight chip I posted a while back.

Any recommendations for a beam splitter? I want to keep the cost down until I know what I am doing. Some examples are here.

The ranges involved will be in the tens of feet initially

Any of those cube beamsplitters should work. The coated ones are best. Handle them with tissue or polyethylene gloves, though, to keep you fingerprints off.

BTW, I had to laugh at how the forum software shortened the Surplus Shed URL for display: "category/beamsplitters" became "cat...litters". :)
