Put together Prop Proto board with blank board

Hello!

Is there any hardware out there (like four hexpins with threads in them) for mounting a Prop Proto board and a blank board?

I see that there is 3x4 size available blank boards now, just great if it was possible to mount them together, like a sandwich :)

Thanks Parallax for all your great, innovative and special products!

You mean these sorts of things? http://www.futurlec.com/Hardware.shtml

Humanoido built a tower of propellers out of those.

You can get them at the Parallax Store. Type in "standoff" in the product search. They also carry screws, nuts, and spacers. Just search using those terms.

Not so elegent, but, long treads and lots of nuts.

(if anybody critisises it then just say that the final spacings have yet to be finalized)

Parallax and almost any surplus or electronics store has these spacers in plastic nylon or metal brass. They come in a combination of threaded and tapped versions, with washers, nuts and bolts. There are various lengths too. Using these spacers, I built the BASIC Stamp SEED Supercomputer, and the UltraSpark 40 SuperMicrocontroller. I also use a spacer as feet to raise a board off the table. Attaching blank boards is easy if they have a small mounting hole at the peripheral corners.
