Advice on Solid-State relay?

I could use some "expert" advice on what to use as a solid state relay for a project which will be Propeller controlled. (3v) and will need to handle up to 1.5amps, and be triggered on/off very, very quickly.

Can someone make a suggestion or two here?

Thanks!

Switching AC or DC ? I'm guessing DC, and how fast is very very quickly in Hz or uSec.?

    In Hz and DC.

    Sorry, should have specified this.

    Thanks!

I have used the Clare CPC1708J (4A 60VDC), it has worked well and comes in a nice compact package. Max turn on/off times are 20/5 mS so frequency would be less than 50Hz. This on/off time is typical for sold state relays although you may find some that are slightly faster (1-2 mS range). If you need higher frequencies you may need to use a high speed optoisolator and separate transistor.
