Hi can I feed in pulsed 5 Volt to the Heater coil. My main aim is to reduce the power consumption. I tried a pulsed input of 400ms time period 50% duty cycle to the sensor heating coil. The result was stablization lost , output voltage (Across the Load resistor ) started rising instead of lowering showing less dessipation across heating element thus affecting performance.
Is it really posibble to pulse the heater element thus bring down the power consumed . If so how much should be the frequency
