Strange thing is.... i wasn't even born at that time.

    Unix time began midnight (UTC) 1 Jan 1970. "Last visit" times were all initialized to zero when the new forum started up. Subtracting the offset for your time zone gets you the 31 Dec 1969 "last visit" time.

    Correct! Both of you win a free round trip to Tatooine, please don't feed the sand people and the Jawas.

    Ideally the big problem with that is when you're creating files and stuff. For example see what happens regarding Cygwin http://www.cygwin.com how it reacts to the external part of the computer that it's not aware of.

    Awesome. But in the interests of being PC, please refer to them as Tusken Raiders, not Sand People.
