I tried the sharpie method on a protoboard and it worked. You can make a simple board real fast

    Yes, using a marker certainly does work as it resists the etchant. It is a great way to repair problems in art work that occur from other transfer processes. And sometimes it is just a lot simpler than creating an image to be transfered.

    I still love Eagle CAD for most things. I print a transparency with an HP Inkjet and they use it with photographic process to develop the image. AT THAT POINT, if there are any mistakes - using a sharpie can fix them before you etch.
