One Click Buying

Amazon.com has "One Click Buying".

You enter your information and credit card once, then each time you visit Amazon.com after that, you just need to click on the one click button and your order is done!

I now try Amazon first for anything I need because it is so quick and easy. Or in other words, I have transferred all of my online shopping to Amazon because other web sites do not have this feature.

And they offer free shipping for orders over $25. Being as I live in the boonies, this is less expensive shopping for me than driving to the city.

Anyway Parallax might want to do something similar or also sell their products on Amazon.

Note: With some things I buy there, the item is sold by a 3rd party, but it says "Order fulfilled by Amazon". And it is shipped by Amazon. I recently bought a CD drive and this was the case. They seem to have anything under the sun lately. Other things are shipped by the 3rd party.

Anyway people seem to be able to sell things there which they don't stock or ship themselves?

...I believe Amazon has a patent for "one-click-buying", so Parallax would get into sticky legal issues if to implement same.

A lawyer could figure a way out of that. Two click buying?

This says Amazon will license sites as well for one click...

Or sell your products through Amazon. Whatever works best!

    Hello!
Technically he's right. However there are people who're selling stuff via the Amazon sites, and are doing very well. In fact I did indeed sell a book that way. My problem is that Amazon still thinks a storage fee is in order, and I'm technically not owed my money because of that. (But that's besides the point.)

On iTunes they state that the idea of one click buying does work for them, and they mention that its a trademark of Amazon.

I think I'm giving them a headache over the fact that I'm not buying the usual stuff that people our ages normally are.

    Hello!
<Me arranges for an invasion of Hessians to land on PhilPi's lawns.>

No actually it happens to be classical music, and the odd TV show, either a classic such as Star Trek or the Scooby Doo gang, or episodes of CSI: from the past series. (That's the original one based in Las Vegas.)

Besides I find that guy to be even worse then the Smile young people are listening to, and some people my age. I don't have a problem with jazz, that is the big band sound stuff, but that guy makes me want to find where I put my blaster. And I don't normally carry one.:smhair:
