I see dc, but no draw on the 12v dc? AWESOME? Have I found the zero point energy machine's flux capacitor?
I want to know if these ccfl tubes can run on any kind of battery using the inverter as suggested.

Lowest (less than 12v) voltage operation is nice to know, but I can find that myself.

I tested the CCFL tubes at various voltages and recorded the current draw. I also took pictures of the tube at each level since the tubes "glow" from one end as the voltage increases.
