Enquiry on HB 25

I currently have 2 HB25.
I am supplying 12V DC to both of them.
Upon powering on, i measured the voltage of the connector "W" for both.
One of them has a voltage of 5V while other one has ~0v.
Does this means that the one with measured ~0V is faulty?

    I would not expect to see 5vdc on the signal pin. Can you post a picture showing how everything is connected?

    sorry that i am unable to get a picture at the moment.
    Because hb25 do have a initialization time and that needs to wait for hb25 to start up and that is when hb25 send a high signal (5V) to my BS2.
    So isnt the 5V on signal pin correct?

    I didn't notice that feature before. Apparently the the signal pin on the HB-25 goes high after power up. It doesn't say for how long. Some narrative on exactly how that works would be beneficial rather than having to infer from the code examples.
