    While quite an accomplishment, they used a car to pull the thing up. How far would it have glided if the pilot hadn't flapped? I'm not sure I buy into the "Human Powered" part of this.

    A team of people spent four years to create something that flew just over 19 seconds. I believe the article said it probably won't be flown again. Like they say, "If man was meant to fly he would have been born with wings!"
    For a long time I wanted to hang glide. I bought "The Hanglider's Bible" when I first heard about it. I'm in my 50's and I still do. Actually I started to prefer an ultralight but I would need to store it somehow. I would be happy with a powered paraglider.
