Is there a way to change the name of a thread?

Well, i think the title pretty much sums it up. I could have sworn that some threads have different names then they did before...

    Yes, there is. In your post, click on the edit button (obviously while logged in). That will give you the basic WYSWIG editing screen. Next to the save button is a "Go Advanced" button. Click on it and now you can edit the title, etc.

    @WBAconsulting...I tried that and it just edits the name of the post and not the whole thread..

    @Phil...I find myself in a position similar to Humanoido. I want to update the subject so that people will know at a glance if anything important has happened..

    Ravenkallen: Sorry, I should have mentioned that the title of the thread is the same as the title of the first post. So, if you edit the title of the first post (assuming it is your thread) it will effectively change the title of the thread. I just confirmed it's function on one of my testing threads.

    Huh, tried that to...Maybe i am doing it wrong. I go to edit post, then i go to go advanced, then i try to rename the first post and that works, but the thread name is the same...

    No, you're not doing it wrong. WBA's moderator status enables the thread title change.
