Do have anything in the way of the the coolest NON-humanoid robot? I am a beginning to get bored with these tin men -- though it makes neat sounds when it moves.
Nice evolution of their other robots standing in the background, but Newbot is not a turnkey solution. Each demo is carefully controlled, with several humans hiding behind curtains waiting to run out if & when something goes wrong. I agree. I guess I should have said coolest LOOKING humanoid robot, not the most USEFUL robot, or the coolest robot overall(which would have functionality & autonomy). I think this one is more sleek with no cumbersome backpack. Right now I'm a wheeled robot guy...just makes sense. I'll take a pic of my last one when i get a sec. He's a real hodge podge of used ebay parts.
