Do you think your job is hard? Try doing it 1,768 feet in the air!

You can see 55 miles to the horizon from the top...

Well it is a good thing you posted this because I'm sure Phil wanted to see it again!

I can't watch the darn thing myself... Just a little bit and I "get the idea".

Also I'm forgetful. I'll climb a ladder and realize I forgot a tool.

Or I will drop something, then need to climb down and get it...

I can see danger. This video gives me chills. So much could go wrong.

I'd be frozen -- with "sewing machine leg" -- about 50 feet up. At least the fire department would still be able to reach me!

Once upon a time, I worked construction of tall concrete and steel office buildings as a union carpenter (up to about 50 floors). As a rule, any fall over 7 floors up will kill you, so why worry? And anything you drop might kill someone else, so just don't.

If you are physically fit, you tend to have good balance and the confidence for high work. It is hard work with as much as 50 pounds of tools on your belt (with suspenders to keep it up) and climbing all day long, but there is great satisfaction in knowing that a lot of people can't, won't, and never will get a chance to do such work.

Coming down the ladders safely after working up there for a while may be even harder. Time to wear a parachute and Base jump down.

For that matter, hire Base jumpers as your workers. Cheap labor, or they may do it for free!

    I've been mountain climbing.
    I've flew Military Jets.
I've come to the opinion that; after having to pause this 4 times before I could watch the whole video; It's not for me!

    PASS...

Yeah, what erco said. Parachute down. The helicopter pilot who brings me to the top probably has an oxygen mask. I would not do this.

Hopefully they take care of that before they climb and don't drink too much.

That video made my palms sweat, and every time he looked down my head spun. I had to pause it several times to calm down before I could continue.

'Bout lost my lunch over that one! In the U.S those crumbling stairs and walkways would be a massive lawsuit waiting to happen. I wonder if anyone was on any of those missing sections when the pavement gave way.

Apparently the authorities have had to seal the path off due to numerous deaths.

There is even a flash game based on it
