Questions about BASIC Stamp 2p 40-Pin Module

Hi. i have two questions about BASIC Stamp 2p 40-Pin Module. FIrst:
Main I/O are same like on other BASIC Stamp's Modules.
But aux i/o?? this are extra new 16 i/o same like main but name is different or this i/o are different?
second: I have Board of Education Development Board and is it possible that i connect BASIC Stamp 2p 40-Pin Module.
I know it has more pins. But i think only for power supply and for connecting to computer?

    Yes, the 40 pin chips have more physical i/o. Yes, there are specific ways of addressing the extra i/o.
    All details for using the aux i/o are found in the Help files of the programming software.
