I'm looking at 12 blocks and i cant remember a simple schematic for hooking up a button to the PDB (if possible could you provide a real pic, of it breadboarded? I have a lot of trouble with 4 prong buttons) and how do i hoop up a servo

Consider, next time you go to Radio Shack, picking up the little project box, some panel switches (pushbuttons/toggles) and some solid hook-up (#22, 24) wire. Drill the box to hold the switches and solder a 12_inch wire to each, bringing back the free ends to plug into your breadboard. More accessiblilty, less... fatigue, exasperation, etc.

Actually thats a good idea PJ, but do you happen to have a 2 prong button schematic (or a 4 prong would be even better) something to make during this labor day weekend

Isn't that in the PEK Labs book? That has good pics. I'll go look for it. You too.

Exactly! Thanks PJ! to hookup a servo to a Demo board do i need any caps or resistors or do i just attach the + to 5v, Gnd to Gnd (of course) and the signal wire into one of the props pins?

No capacitors necessary. I think a small value resistor (100 ohms, brown-black-brown) between the Prop_pin and the servo SIGnal pin never hurt anybody, just some insurance, you can go without it.

I have a file "Algorithms and Circuits". When ever I have trouble with something simple like this, I note it in the file. I've gone back to it a zillion times for stuff like NPN and PNP E,B,C hookups and bias resistor placements. OR, if I come with a cool solution for something, I stick a copy in the file. It's amazing how fast you can forget stuff.
    Glad you got your answers.
