Graphics Slave PCB: Program TV graphics without using valuble RAM!

Most of you have probably seen my Graphics Slave object, located here:
http://forums.parallaxinc.com/forums/default.aspx?f=25&m=460899
and have been intrigued by a system that uses 2 Propellers to give you rich Graphics without the heavy cost of your Hub RAM.

Well, now a PCB has been developed, and if interest is strong, then it will be made. Behold, the Graphics Slave PCB!

Attached are my 2 designs, one having the RCA connector and the other not. The one without it simply gives the video line to the header, and would be cheaper to manufacture and therefore purchase. However, most lack a handy RCA connector, so maybe you would want it built in. Give me your opinion.

As you can see in the pictures, they have a "stick" design to them, so it would be easy to plug into a breadboard.

Tell me what you think!

Thanks,
Micro

If you go with the one with the RCA jack, consider adding some mounting holes to the board (at least) near the jack. It makes it much easier to incorporate these kinds of things into enclosures.

OK, sure. I could even get an enclosure made by Propmodule.com.

It might be good to allow for some form of support, mechanically, for the RCA socket. It will be a high leverage area with the plug insertion/removal. I would certainly beef up the copper pads underneath it.
