compass cmps03

Hi folks,
I'm looking for some code to read a CMPS03 compass.
Can anyone point to suitable code?
I checked the OBEX but there doesn't seem to be anything there specific to the CMPS03.

One question:
You call I2C.readlocation , but that subroutine doesn't exist in the Basic_I2C_Driver.
Did you modify the original?

I have done a number of changes to basic_i2c_driver over the years though I dont think that change was one of mine but i have attached my version.
