It's over know erco, the link was given in the propeller forum under UPENE - Now Online today. But John R was recording video and promised to post some you tube links later on. Some people got pretty creative with some of the robots I witnessed in the feed
John R. went over the top today at UPENE working that live video stream.
What a dedicated gentleman he is. He had set up on his table cameras, computers, multiple monitors, routers, cell phones, and on and on and on.
Looked like a studio over there.
He kept at it ALL DAY LONG.
John brought his own propeller projects for display and never got the change to bring them out.
The show was great and I really enjoyed seeing all the projects and the other robots at the event. Everyone did a great job on their robots and should be proud of what they brought.
I wish I would have had more time to get my robot together before the show so people could have seen what it can really do... That and get some sleep too. Staying up soldering past 3:30am the morning of the show is rough! At least it all worked.

I thought it really added something to the whole UPENE experience to see and interact with people actually working on projects while they were there
Some of the people that walked by ended up helping out and lending a hand which I thought embodied the spirit of these events. One in particular (I think his name was Peter) started asking questions, then ended up holding the flashlight for me so I could see then helped tightening up some screws on a connector inside my robot while I held the wires in place. Another (James) helped hold the base while I bolted it in place.
I wasn't sure if I was going to have my robot together at the show and am thankful for those that were willing to lend a hand during the show. I just hope that someone who took pictures of the robot will send me a copy.
