Chips adds floating point math & trig functions for $20, might be interesting. Some other neat things on their site, like free projects and data acquisition modules.

It seems to be a PIC, from the pin connections.

I got the Micromega 32-bit Floating Point Coprocessor V3.1 (also $20) and am very impressed. It has SPI and I2C interfaces. Their website has free tools and lots of applications. The product is fully featured including the GPS sentence parsing and the Micromega support is both personal and world-class! I recommend it highly. -Scott
