heyy everybody i bought a rfid serial reader and i got everything setup and it started working on the basic stamp and then it gave me an error of my power supply being low so i changed my 9v battery to a plug in 8.4 dc power supply and then the rfid reader turned green and it wouldnt go back to red so i adjusted it and everything u know i took the plug in and checked it and put another battery in but still it was green i messed with a little more and then it gave me and error on the computer saying a basic stamp error has occurred and then it went to red but it also completly turned off..... my basic stamp still works but my rfid reader is dead it wont turn on.......yyyy can anyone help me

You may have well poofed the reader if it was attached to the Vin bus.
with the whole thing powerd up , what voltage do you read on the Power pin and Ground pin on the reader?
