Micro R/C servos - anyone tried to run them with a Prop?

Hey folks,

There are these really tiny R/C cars that are not much bigger than a matchbox or hotwheels toy we used to play with when we were kids. I am wondering if anyone has tried to control those sized servos the same way we do for normal R/C servos?

Here is a link to the R/C cars that I am talking about

I don't think they have servos.

Franklin's right. I work in the toy biz and those cheapie RC cars have magnetic solenoid-type steering. Quite frankly, that is the cheapest possible design; it has little turning torque and it barely works. It is not proportional steering, but bang-bang. The steering wheels are magnetically centered, then deflected full left or right by energizing the solenoid relay with +/- voltage applied.
