Yes, it's about two weeks to UPENE and the Propeller Robotics Competition.
There is a great prize up for grabs from Parallax this year...

All Robots will be judged by the attendees. Attendees will pick their favorite and we'll tally up the votes toward the end of the day.

I know Gramps is playing. Who else is working on a Propeller based robot?

Your robot can be a DIY, or it can be an adaption of an existing bot with features added. It'll all up to you, but you have two weeks to get it going!

Because it's being judged by the attendees, It would need to be brought to UPENE. Sorry, but in-the-flesh robots will have a clear advantage here.

I am definitely going to try to bring my stingray. Hopefully I can get it to do something neat in time. I don't think I will have my quadcopter ready though.

Can't wait to see what other people have been working on!

How many attendee's do you have signed up so far?

We're shooting toward 150.

I'm expecting it to be somewhere between 100-125 in reality, but we're ready for the 150 if every signup shows.

I've only noted a couple changes so far.

The attempt will be made, however the bandwidth at the rec-center is limited.
They have a connection which is used by the offices, and they are kind enough to allow us to plug in a wireless router for the event.

No promises, but we will try...
