Big Remember Me Login

I am generally very happy with the new forum software, and I recognize some migration troubles will take time to repair (I'm patient in many ways). Longer term maybe the code blocks and attachments can be corrected. I've run into another problem though.

This item is a bit annoying but hopefully should be a quick fix: Sometimes I'm presented with a big "remember me" page and am asked to login the forum. That's fine, but it always shows my old forum's username and I just can't make it remember my new forum username.

Can this be fixed? Anyone else had the problem?

There have been reports of problems with cookies. Clear your web cache, and the problem may be resolved. For more details, see some of the threads on "Threaded display mode" and "logging in"....

Thanks for for that. Unfortunately it didn't help.
I use Chrome ... I'll try Firefox.

Same problem with Firefox. I don't use Internet Exploiter.

I may have been misleading, it's less the actual "cache" and actually the cookies for this site that need to be cleared. Sorry if I [inadvertently] mislead you.

I cleared everything in both browsers after your first post and the problem persists.

A few things posted in other threads that seem to help are:

1. Delete cookies
2. Check the 'Remember Me' box as you are logging in.

This issue appeared when we moved from using cookies to keep track of login and posts to a database-driven process.
