Search function needs some improvement.

I wanted to find a PBASIC PID example, but when I used the search feature of the forum I got an error that PID is too small a word and it wasn't included in the search. That's not good as PID is something people would want to search for. Well, no problem as it was better to use Google to search the old forum anyway.
But if I Google for "pbasic PID example" I get a link to the old forum which is now broken. Hopefully Google will re-index their links, or maybe they'll just go away which would make finding things hard. So I was out of luck finding a PID example I could re-use.
But if I Google "arduino PID example" I get a bunch of live links and code I can download for a barebones PID controller. So I may try translating the C into PBASIC.
But one reason I like the Stamp in spite of its limitations are all the code examples I can find quickly, so I can throw something together without much coding on my own. So these broken links are something of a drag.

Not ideal, but better than nothing.
The other thread mentioned that we have a meaningful number of TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms), and they (Parallax) may take a look at this in the future (we hope).

I would think google would have found the new site by now?
I've read there are "tricks" to getting search engines to spider a database.
I searched and found this product which says "vBulletin SEO begins optimizing your forum immediately in real-time... ultimately allowing Google and other search engines to find all of your forum pages..."
http://www.crawlability.com/vbseo
So that seems to imply google will not spider a vBulletin forum as is?
