Regarding uploading a picture in the forum user profile
For what it's worth while brining my profile etc. up to date after the forum software change I note that using the same thumbnail .jpg 100 x 74 2.22 kb I could not successfully upload it in the picture section of the profile. I tried from an upload browse and from a url several times. The same picture uploaded as an Avatar on the first try.
Has anyone else experienced similar dificulties?
I just attached the picture in question to this message. In compose preview it shows as a broken link. I'll attach some other jpg and see if that works. They both show broken. I'll save this and see if they display.

A couple of those failed uploads might have been because the .jpg was 121 pixels wide instead of the max 120.
So you are saying it is the avatar?
Correct. I was able to upload the avatar not the picture. I don't know what the difference might be. It seems that in the context of this forum software they are the same. Perhaps the picture only displays in the profile. ??? I duno...

1st: It still doesn't work
'
2nd: Mistakingly clicked on bitmap and not the jpeg pic.
'
3rd: Have Avatar,all is well!

How did you attach the images? Why is is it that I cannot click on them to open them but I can right click and open them in a new tab? And why does it say "Attached images" rather than "Attached thumbnails"? Why, why why???
Anyhow, I did not have any issues uploading a profile picture, although it did get resized in the process.
