It appears that for a single word search to work (e.g. "zog") you need to include wild cards, as in:

*zog*

    There is a minimum number of characters permitted in the search function. I believe it is set to 4 at the moment. That cuts down on trivial searches.

    Jim, if this is an option I think it would be good to enable searches of 3 letter words. There are heaps of tla's (three letter acronyms) used in these forums. I tried searching for "plc" before and discovered it was omitted from the search results, which made the results quite random.

    Wildcards are fine for advanced users who know the trick, but its noobies who would really benefit from having a great search...
