Hi,
I have developed a board which takes the wireless RF data and then it sends to the FT232RL chip that converts it to USB signals and then connected to a USB port of PC which displays the data in a GUI developed by me...
Now i have used the bus power configuration as shown in the data sheet of FT232RL , but now my radio mudule got changed and its power on inrush current reaches 250mA , so i am thinking for FET circuit (Section 6.3 in FTDI data sheet).
Has anyone of you tried this configuration?? Does the PWREN# pin behave correctly untill the enumeration??
I am using DTR# to drive on circuitry, is this pin able to drive ????
