XBee USB Adapter Board flashing LED?

I only question the subject board's continuous flashing of the RED LED and the continuous steady light of the AMBER LED during non activity and some during serial operation, because a very poor solderer, me, assembled the unit #32400.· It doesn't seem to bother its' operation but it·sure seems strange that those LED's operate like that.

Are they functioning correct?

Thanks,

Robert

    Hi Robert,
The Amber light is power - yeah, it should normally be on.

The red light is Association. Few people use the associate mode, so this is normal activity as it seeks another to associate with. Don't worry about it.

    Martin,

What an honor -- you gentlemen that wrote "The Official Guide" "Programming and Customizing The Multicore PROPELLER Microcontroller" are like Gods to me. Right now I am deep into your Chapter 5, and trying to commit to memory every word of it. I am reproducing each experiment as presented. I have learned much in this chapter that can be put to practical use.

Thanks for your response, and especially thanks for your part of the Propeller Official Guide.
