Need some help with TCS3200 color sensor

Hello Everyone

I have a question i recently purchased a TCS 3200 color sensor, i was wondering if i can interface with an HC12 microprocessor, if i can do i need any adapters?

    The TCS3200-DB should interface easily to any micro. It will operate with either 3.3V or 5V logic levels, as determined by the Vdd supply. The +5V supply still needs 5V, though, if you intend to use the onboard white LEDs. For the easiest physical connection, you may wish to consider using Parallax's DB-Expander, which converts the two-row 2mm header to a 0.1"-pitch SIP.
