The XBee items are listed as *.pdf but when loaded are listed as (http://forums.parallax.com/forums/attach.aspx?a=44959), and not *.pdf. When you go to save the file,·the file saved·only contains giberish, or are we not supposed to have direct access to the pdf file?· I believe I have encountered that in other locations at Parallax -- I'm probably not doing something that I'm supposed to.· If this is the wrong place to ask this please delete this message.

Hi Robert,
Are you sure you are saving it correctly? Don't use the Browser's save, but the pdf bar's save. I just tested and it worked fine.

Actually, when I double click on the pdf listing on the forum, I receive the aspx file that is readable but saves as gibberish.

From what I understand there's no wi-fi solution yet for the Parallax P8X32A QuickStart, just the BlueTooth module with XBee.

I didn't see a link to Phil's program that uploads Propeller code using a XBee.

While XBees are easy to use, it's hard to beat the price of Nordic nRF24L01+ modules (less than $2.50 delivered).

I have an object to use them with a Propeller.

Mark_T also has an object.

Ron Czapalla has written code to use the modules with a BS2.

This index was created quite some time ago before we had the /go links on our website. Our resource for XBee information can now be found at http://www.parallax.com/go/xbee

As for direct links to the manuals, since these are located off site there's no way for us to detect possible broken links if something changes on their end. If you're having trouble finding one of the manuals for a particular XBee model I would be happy to help you locate it on their site.

Since this thread is technicaly obsolete I will unstick it now. Remember, you can always ask for information here and I will follow up with whatever information I can. Take care.
