This is great, I am currently checking out communication between two BS2's on amateur frequencies so this forum will be welcome!

Moskog, great to have you. We may have already exchanged a few e-mails in the past [I think I sent you a few Tigertronics RTX-12 OEM modems?].

If not, be sure to see a past post of mine:

Ken, yes I've got the Tigertronics. When testing the two I kept (the two others went to a friend of mine) I faced some problems with one of them. I was not able·to either transmit or receive. Did not find anything wrong with the hardware setup or the testing software so I'm afraid there·is something wrong with the RTX itself. But when my friend is back from vacation we will do some more testing with the two other items, to find out what could be wrong.

Your post on the communication issue (you mention) is very informative and was orginally the reason I started·my 2m communication project.

On the Propeller backpack, I am now studying the Spin-language and hope to soon take the step up from the BS to start programming the Propeller. There are always new ideas coming up and some of them seems to reach the Wall of BS2-limitations. The Propeller seems to give me a lot of more room and possibilities and looks very interesting to me.

Great idea. I'm glad to be here. I mostly use XBee's and don't have experience with other systems, but am sure to learn more now. This is great!
