Are the security labels found on Paperback Books, read by Radio Frequency Reader or Electromagnetic?· ·EAS (Electronic Article Serveillance).

Cross posting (posting the same question in more than one forum) is not allowed. Since your other posts didn't have any subject I deleted them and left this one.
The "Sensors" forums seems like the best choice anyway.
Most of the sensors "ring" like a bell when the gates ping them. They are really not the same as RFID.
