    It's amazing what you can do with cardboard. Do you think these will fit onto a spare Penguin robot? I have a penguin that wants to flex some muscle.

    Ya I'm going out to buy all 7 that they have in stock for $85 each.. LOL They are pretty neat thou. I think they would make more money by selling the plans instead of the finished product.

    Cardboard is not to be sniffed at as a construction medium for robotics. I have tried -- and failed so far, but know I will ultimately succeed -- to create a cardboard, servo-driven, crawling robot. Watch this space! smile.gif

    A rather large robot could be built (without the man requirement) using reinforced cardboard and heavy duty servos or other motors. The advantage is during transport, the cardboard is disassembled and lays flat for shipping, plus it's relatively light in weight. Another possibility is transforming cardboard. Since cardboard folds easily, it can transform to new shapes.
