What is the PS2 connectors name in the Eagle lib?

I see a few connectorss that look like they could be it under con-yamaichi.lbr, the MD06S or the MD06SS?· They both look like a 6pin din but I wanted to ask first before I use it, I need the 6pin mini din...

Also looking for the RCA Jack used for video, cant find it.

I'm not sure if this is a library I've added or a standard library, but it is in the
    mini_din

    and it is called MINI_DIN_6

    pin 3=Gnd, pin 5 = 5V, Clock = pin 6 and Data = pin 1

I found an RCA connector in the
    con-conrad

menu, with the device number 736880

Let me know if you need these libraries.

If you wouldn't mind, I dont have the mini_din lib, I just installed eagle so you must have added it or they removed it. I have the con-conrad lib. Wish there was a search feature in eagle...

I am looking for libs that are commonly used with the propeller, and or stamp. I thought I saw an eagle lib on parallax's main site...

    No problem. File attached.

Put in in the lbr folder.

But it is really complicated adding a library. I've never worked out exactly what step works, but if you open your project, in the Library tab is Use, Open, Update, and Update All. I usually click all of these in order, then shut down eagle, then start it up, then repeat, then shut it down and start it up and finally it appears in the list when you go to add a new part. I've never worked out exactly which of these steps adds the part though.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Addit; while you are adding libraries, I presume you have the propeller chip one as well - see attached.

As for search, you can sometimes find more things with wildcards eg *bc547*

But usually it is a matter of tediously going through things.

What sort of parts are you adding - I might have some more libraries and/or hard to find parts.

What worked for me was copying the lbr file to the Program files\eagle\lbr directory, then opening Options-Directories and clicking ok without changing anything and you dont need to restart.

Thanks and I do have the parallax_propeller.lbr

Since most use eagle instead of PCB Artist, I will try to add all the parts that are sold by parallax to a single lib, it would make it easier for me that way, I dont know about anyone else...

    Thanks again

I seem to remember a posting from Parallax a while ago about supporting Eagle, anyone remember that?

Eagle would be useful, as many packages can import Eagle libraries and designs. They import very well into the Pulsonix software I use, as well as Easy-PC and packages based on it, like the new DesignSpark PCB from RS.
