Basic Stamp 2 Board and GM862-Quad telit module

How exactly can we send commands from the Basic Stamp board to the GSM and get the "OK" back.· What we have is TXD connected to pin 0, RXD to 2 an GND to VSS.· We are·wondering what commands we would use to send the simple "AT" command and then show the "OK" response in the DEBUG terminal.· Any help would be gladly appreciated.·

If it is regular AT commands you should be able to send +++ and get an OK.

The best way I found using this module·to get started·was to use the eval board and a terminal emulator (realterm works very well).· This will help you understand how to send commands and what to expect for output.·A couple of useful links with sample code for the BS2:
