Why won't the music play?!?

I have a Propeller setup with 4 pushbuttons (pulled up), an SD card, audio out, and my Graphics Slave (and hardware). I have the setup on the PPDB and all worked fine. Then I transfer it to a demo board & protoboard setup and the sound wouldn't work. I soon discovered that if I so much as touched the USB cable with the USB socket casing, the music would start playing. I re-did my setup to all feed out of the demo board's power supply and to use a different prop setup and the same thing happens. It will still work on my PPDB, though.
What is wrong?

Assuming the USB connection is merely coincidental due to movement, I would suggest you check the crystal. I experienced nearly the same exact issue with my Hydra even though it worked just fine for about a year after I got it from it's original owner. It turned out to be an intermittent connection with the crystal socket pins. I desoldered them and installed new ones. Now my Hydra works perfectly.

The only other thing that comes to mind is to check all the connections around the FTDI chip, USB connector, and surrounding parts.
