A few Qeustions about wire AWG and Colors

It has been quite a while since I obeyed standards for my wiring, about 12 years, and I want my work to look more professional, but... forgot the standards which may have changed anyways.
First the colors! I know Red is usualy power and Black is ground, but say you have 3.3V and 5V, what are the standard colors for that? and Should their respective grounds be a seperate color as well?
Now the AWG. I want to do whatever I can to not wear out my breadboards, what is the standard gauge that should be used for a firm fit but not wear out the boards so much?
Thanks in advance
