does anyone know a way to use the rf to control the smart home or X modules for lighting?

Thanks, but I already have that, I mean the RF tranciver from parallax to controll the lights

You will probably have to build your own. The spec for X10 is out there and I think the 'p' stamps have some commands for that.

The X10 "firecracker" module is RF, and very inexpensive, and easily interfaced to a BS2.
