I am looking for a good bench top lathe and also a bench top milling machine. If anyone knows where to find one at a "Good" price please let me know. A 3 in 1 machine might also work, but I have not read too many good reviews on them. Could also use an Ocy/Acetylene torch set up. Small to medium sized tanks preferred. I am in the Seattle area, but if the price is right I would travel to pick up or pay to ship.

Grizzly is a very good choice. I have their benchtop lathe and mill. Good prices, decent equipment, and great service. Seig (China) makes the units that most companies offer (Harbor Fright, Grizzly, Micro Mark, etc.), so it boils down to finding the best price (delivered). Some companies do a little extra "prep" (i.e. Micro Mark), but you do pay an up-charge. Disassembly, deburring, cleaning, and lubing are tasks that should be performed on all of them before first use so it's a pretty even playing field as far as the raw equipment.

Fun and VERY handy to have around.

I'd avoid 3 in 1. Generally, you find that you spend a lot of time breaking down and setting up for the next task. I can get rather tedious and unproductive. Plus, such machines have more parts that can shake loose when least expected.
