    Neat concept. I think at least the second video is faked, the vehicle dynamics don't look right. The front wheels should nose down as soon as they go over the edge, and the whole robot should start rotating to the right somewhat in freefall, but it doesn't budge at all.

    I don't think it's faked. The front wheels do dip slightly when they go off the edge and it would have a large moment of inertia due to it's mass being spread over a large vertical distance.

    Looks like the video is in slow-mo, which could account for the effect seen.
