Could the Prop convert Video in Realtime?

I am just starting out with the Prop (got my·kit·last week:)

I was wondering if it was possible to convert MDA, CGA or EGA video to VGA in real time.
This would be a great upgrade to our CNC mill at work as it uses a Mono MDA video monitor,
would love to change it to a LCD monitor.

Thanks for any thoughts...

That's a job for an FPGA... the scan rates are just too high.

I might be able to design something with a Prop + CPLD, but that's a minimum.

Actually, with an LCD monitor that supported MDA scan rates, it might be possible with just a "special" converter cable.

I was afraid of that.· FPGA's are a bit out of my realm·at this point...

It would have been cool though.
