This new Hong Kong seller has some interesting robot stuff in his store, including a tracked tank platform and some robots with controllers.

The RP6 tank chassis looks pretty good! But it is too small for the next robot I want to build. If it was 12 to 14 inches long I might be tempted as I want to build something with a small robot arm on top.

I have used the earlier RP5 version, worked fine though a bit slow. The battery holder I didn't use (6x AA), takes up a lot of the internal space, removing it made more space available.
Pololu.com sell expansion plates for it http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1546, I expect these will fit the RP6 as well.
