PTZ control

I have a DVR that supports a number of PTZ rs485 control formats. I would like to use a prop to decode the commands. Did not see anything in the OBX… I was thinking of using the Pelco D, but another format might be just as well. Anyone using the prop for this?

I'm working for a company that uses a lot pelco video matrix and dvr's. I created some time ago a protocol converter with the propeller that converted the pelco D to ASCII code for a project we did. It also combined 4 dvr's to 1 matrix. It is now up and running for 1 jear without any problem. Thier schould be no problem doing it.

I work in CCTV so I would be interested in this. I have access to all sorts of DVR and PTZ cameras so I could help you with testing.

PS Go with PELCO format it the most widely used by far.....
