TCS3200-DB colour sensor to BS2 ?

Hi all,

Just to be sure before I buy the TCS3200-DB colour sensor. Can I connect this sensor to the BS2 stamp directly?
Or do I need also the DB expander and flatcable (to make is easier) ?

    The connector on the TCS3200-DB is a Hirose DF11-series 2mm shrouded header. By using a compatible mating connector and some pre-crimped wires, you could make the connection to the BS2 on your own. But the DB expander makes the job a whole lot easier. Also, the TCS3200-DB plugs directly into both the MoBoStamp-pe and the Propeller Backpack -- no additional wiring or adapters required!
