Sharp 2Y0A21 sensor + Analog to digital TLC0831 problem.

Hello,

I have a Sharp 2Y0A21 distance sensor (10cm-80cm) that I want to connect to my Propeller chip. As the sensor output is analog, I am using an Analog to Digital converter TLC0831 (It suppose to work the same way as ADC0831)
I did my connections following this link:
www.parallax.com/dl/docs/prod/acc/SharpGP2D12Snrs.pdf

I have being testing many codes, but finally I am using the ADC0831_DEMO by Jean-Marc:
obex.parallax.com/objects/248/

My problem is I don't get any result, all the output coming for the TLC0831 is 0.

I have tested the Sharp sensor with a multimeter and it is working good, so I guess the problem is with the TLC0831 connections.

At this point I don't know what else to try, I have attached the pictures of my setting, any suggestion would be appreciated,

Thank you.

You have your pins on the ADC shorted out because you are using the wrong area of the breadboard. Move the chip to the right so the right side of the chip is on row "f" and the left side of the chip is on row "g".
    The Basics of Breadboarding.
PS. I hope you didn't break your Prop Chip. You have 5 volt going directly to P0

Thank you very much hover1, this is a very shame mistake, this is my first breadboard project, and I knew about this basic thing, but I suddenly forget, I were not careful enough, and I was looking the problem in other things. Lucky my Propeller still alive, thank you a lot!!!!!!!
