Problem With Boe Bot

Hello, recently I tried to change the batteries on my Boe Bot, but when I did, it would not turn on, and the part behind port 15 began getting very, very hot. Does anyone know whats wrong, I am very worried that my Boe may be broken. Help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you put the batteries in properly? If you put the batteries in backwards, it could cause the heating you mentioned. It can damage the Stamp and perhaps the servos.

Yes, the batteries are in properly. If the servos and the stamp are damaged will they have to be replaced?

Even when I put in the 9 volt battery through the slot on the side, the same problem persists.

Thank you Mike for the tip.
Actually, after a good look at the Board, I realized some things needed de-soldering (bridged connections probably caused the overheat.)
