I finished the Propellor Education Kit Labs: Fundamentals and I have a few questions :)
#1 - I got some components that wern't used - like the IR Phototransistor and the Opamp - did I miss something?
#2 - where do I go from here - I still feel like I don't know a whole lot LOL

But darned if I can find where the Op Amp was used!
Where to go? What are your interests? Hobby, work related?
Jim
strictly hobby stuff - and I get into all kinds of things - robots, cnc, audio, etc...
I wish there was a "101 things to do with the Propeller" book :) hehe
I mean - should I know everything there is to know after doing the fundamentals book? I saw there was another book - by Harprit? maybe I'll check that out

This is Harprit's book. I don't have it yet, but I·hear it's good also.

Propeller isn't big enough to do a G-Code interpreter without lots of extra effort.
Check out some of the .wav players or program a Propeller based BOE-BOT.

What's that! Another thing that can't be done on the Prop!
Someone will do it.

There's very little room left to finish the interpreter though.

The Fundamentals book & online labs·are·just jumping-off points. The two books published by McGraw-Hill are full of inspiration.
The 9-author effort·Programming & Customizing the Multicore Propeller has some great foundation info, hints·on debugging tools and sensor interfacing, and 8 amazing application chapters, including one from the Propeller inventor Chip Gracey.
Harprit Sandhu's Programming the Propeller with Spin is another approach to beginner-level info, with lots of basic, practical examples. You might be interested in the stepper motor and encoders particularly.·(This book has been released on Amazon, and Parallax will be carrying it very·soon as well.)
Have fun!

I was working on exactly that title (got a lot of stuff I need to post to my website), before I got caught up in Expo stuff. :)

do you use the Bresenham algorythm for the cirular interpolation
like shown [here ?url=http://www.khwarzimic.org/takveen/helix.pdf] Bresenham type fast algorithm for 3D linear and helical movement in CNC machines
